Matthew 6

Matthew 6:33
President Benson said:
"When we put God first, all other things fall into their proper place or drop out of our lives. Our love of the Lord will govern the claims for our affection, the demands on our time, the interests we pursue, and the order of our priorities (“The Great Commandment—Love the Lord,” April 1988 General Conference).

Elder Richard G. Scott said:

“. . . In quiet moments when you think about it, you recognize what is critically important in life and what isn’t. Be wise and don’t let good things crowd out those that are essential. . . . Think of the long view of life, not just what’s going to happen today or tomorrow. Don’t give up what you most want in life for something you think you want now. (Conference Report, Apr. 1997, 78–79; or Ensign, May 1997, 53–54 ).
